+Feingold for the Feingold Amendment to FISA and making sure we all know what this is: a power grab intended to increase the power of the security establishment. If Feingold is your senator, call him and let him know what a great job he's doing.
+ A contest on the Freakonomics blog (Linked from Bleat) about a "six-word motto for the United States". My favorites:
"Intelligently designed to constantly evolve.", srb
“IN UR KOUNTRY, STEALIN UR OILZ”, Austin
“It beats living in Soviet Russia”, Jordi Scrubbings
“… or the terrorists have already won …”, th
"Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness, Asterisk.", Jeff

-Muslim groups attempting to censor Wikipedia. What's this craziness? Why don't they just go join Conservapedia? In all seriousness, the online community should not give in to demands of censorship from anyone. Thankfully, even if Wikipedia were censored, the internet would still have the images. As it was put famously by John Gilmore, "The Internet interprets censorship as damage and routes around it."
